Heat & contaminationMedia compatibility, sealing direction, pressure and actuation cycles.
Identify whether the seal is in a static joint, a moving stem or another location on the valve drawing.
Static & moving sealsDust exposure, equipment temperature and lubrication systems.
Dust & service conditionsCooling circuits, lubricants, heat cycles and planned maintenance intervals.
Record the circuit, maintenance interval and specified replacement part; one plant can contain several incompatible fluid systems.
Temperature & lifetimeExact chemicals, concentrations, cleaning media and combined exposure.
Specify the actual chemicals, concentrations and cleaning steps rather than only the plant type.
Compound compatibilityCleaning and sterilisation cycles, extractables requirements and compound documentation.
Supply the required contact documentation and cleaning or sterilisation validation criteria for the particular process.
Process documentationFood contact conditions, cleaning chemicals and documented compound suitability.
